Bridging James Oliver's (James Oliver Gallery) eye for contemporary art and Bryan Hoffman's (Hoffman Design Group) passion for horticulture design, HOT•BED––an up and coming gallery and event space––takes a fresh look at the gallery going experience. This ultra-collaborative space explores the relationship between our intrinsic connection to nature, or biophilia, and art in new exciting ways. HOT•BED puts on 6-8 shows per year, where visitors can immerse themselves in a full sensory experience, not only is the art for sale but the plants and furniture are too.

The space can also be rented out for weddings, showers, parties, socials, and pop-up art exhibits. Our mission at HOT•BED is to connect the often fragmented Philly art scene by built a space where all are welcome! HOT•BED is an environment that promotes rapid growth and development, and that strategy applies to our relationships with the artists that rent studio space at the gallery. Artists play a big part in developing our ever-expanding community of creatives by brining their networks and perspectives to the space. Conveniently located in Center City, HOT•BED is an inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds.
